Minority and Woman Owned Business Development Services
Under Article 15A of the State Finance Law and Executive Order #8, New York State supports the economic development of small, and New York State ceertified minority and woman owned busineeses enterprises (MWBE). Additionally state agencies are required to achive specific contract participation goals for minority and woman owned busineeses. Accordingly, most every solicitation - big or small- requires a specific minority and woman owned participation percentage. In 2014 New York State announced a MWBE Goal of 30%, plus there will be additional goals for Disabled Veteran Owned Businesses (SDVOB). Our firm helps MWBE firms and non MWBE firms bid as prime contractors, or when necessary, team with the right partner to comply with MWBE and SDVOB goals to increase win rates.
